Primary Lymphedema
This is someone who is born with an abnormality in their lymphatic system
Secondary Lymphedema
This is a Lymphedema which is caused by something else, i.e: secondary to an injury

Complete Decongestive Therapy
CDT helps the impaired or damaged lymphatic system to function better and reduces the collection of lymph fluid in the swollen limb. This type of treatment does not ‘cure’ the problem and it needs to be maintained
